Metallic snake-eyed skink

A metallic snake-eyed skink (Cryptoblepharus metallicus) eyes me as it forages along with five other skinks, shuffling around the tree trunk constantly. Occasionally two of the skinks would come into contact and bite at each other briefly, and this skink eventually raced down to the ground and grabbed a stingless bee.

Photographed in situ [1]
